From Oakland, California, but an expert on the world’s game.
I started playing football (soccer) at age five and fell in love with the professional game at age twelve. Since then, I have lived and breathed Everton FC, the Premier League, and my local club San Jose Earthquakes. After a brief spell covering the latter during high school, I properly began my sports journalism career during the pandemic in 2020 when I joined GrandOldTeam. After a successful year and a half, I moved to SBNation’s Everton blog Royal Blue Mersey, where I write bi-weekly articles to this date.
In August 2021, I co-founded Upper 90, which created podcasts, social media content, and vlogs about the world of football. I took a 3-month trip to Europe in the Fall of 2022, where I attended and covered 22 top-level football matches for both Upper 90 and Royal Blue Mersey.
Upon my return from the trip, I began working with Oakland Roots & Soul SC as a Media and Marketing Assistant.
